To fulfill its social responsibilities and following the emphasis made by the minister of Information and Communications Technology on the development of IT infrastructure and online training during Coronavirus pandemic, Shatel has provided a platform for free virtual training services. This is available at one of the following two addresses:
The platform uses bigbluebutton features and users can hold their own classes by creating an account. To do this, you need to log into Shatel Online Training Platform through one of the above addresses, create a Room, and send the link to friends who want to attend your online class. Your friends can also access this class after creating an account.
In this platform, you have access to a camera, microphone, whiteboard and you can use your PowerPoint file. You can easily connect with your students and ask them to answer the questions and view the answers. You can also have an online chat.
Due to some technical limitations, consider the following notes:
- At the end of each class, delete the files on the server so that other users can use the platform, too.
- This feature can only be used for virtual training and should not be used for other activities. You can use other existing software for daily communication and conversations.
- Use just one of the two links to create your virtual class.
We hope that these services will be a step towards improving the quality of education in the current situation, and that we will be able to overcome this crisis safely together.
