Shatel, for the first time in the country, offers a service, which is the convergence of fixed and mobile services, known as FMC (Fixed-Mobile Convergence), to high speed Internet users throughout the country.
FMC service is based on the combination of two services of Shatel fixed Internet services (ADSL2+) and Shatel mobile Internet (ShatelMobile). The mobile Internet of this service can backup and substitute fixed Internet in case of disconnections.
The service is offered to customers as a one-year subscription to ADSL2+ Internet service and a ShatelMobile 4G SIM Card. Its ADSL2+ service includes a 4 GB International fair usage threshold and unlimited domestic fair usage threshold per month. SIM card starter kit of this service also includes 6 GBs of Internet traffic per year (500 MB monthly), 60,000 minutes of free calls within the network (5,000 minutes monthly) and 60,000 free text messages within the network (5,000 messages per month).
In this service, the offered ADSL2+ Internet will be substituted by mobile Internet in case of any disconnections. It means, the SIM card is connected to a DSL or personal computer modem through a dongle, and if necessary, the fixed Internet will be replaced by the mobile Internet. In this way, the service will be available to the user in any circumstances.
This service is offered at 78,000 Tomans per year (only 6,500 Tomans per month), and customers can, if they are willing, enjoy an unlimited overnight traffic package for 10,000 Tomans per month.
Value Added Tax will be added to the aforementioned prices.
