Shatel Group of Companies, as the largest ADSL provider in the country, has added implementing and enforcing safety and health standards based on requirements of OHSAS18001: 2007 to its agenda in order to fulfil its responsibility to employees and other beneficiaries who are directly or indirectly affected by the organization’s operations.
Since, in all professional activities, taking preventive actions via an efficient and well-planned system is more efficient and effective than taking corrective actions after encountering unsafe conditions, creating a safety management system in the organization is an indispensable requirement for any dynamic and excellent organization.
The series of OHSAS 18000 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards has been developed in response to the need of organizations to establish a standard and measurable system of occupational health and safety. Organizations that can establish their own internal health and safety management systems based on the standard index, will be granted the certificate of conformity with this standard.
Shatel believes that with the implementation of OHSAS18001:2007, it will be able to identify the dangers of professional activities in all parts of the organization and, by referring to national and international laws and regulations on compliance with occupational health and safety, reduce these risks to a standard level, and by continuous evaluation, monitor the severity of these risks so that it does not exceed the standard level.
Accordingly, the company has been awarded the certificate of OHSAS18001: 2007 of Environmental Management Standard and has implemented the system in the organization.
Since access to a safe and secure organization will not be possible without the help of all beneficiaries and partners, Shatel will welcome the cooperation of all beneficiaries and business partners to report any problems and confrontation with occupational risks and unsafe situation within the scope of service delivery to customers in the area of their activity. For this purpose, it is enough to inform Shatel by sending a message to hr[at]shatel[dot]ir and make the necessary follow up possible.
